Crazy two weeks

I know its been a while since I last posted and hopefully I have been missed.  As I mentioned in my previous post that I have guests visiting and lots of wedding celebrations  to plan and attend.  All I need now, is to sleep for a whole day.  Now that the dust has settled down,  I am sharing a few pictures of the outfits I wore in one of those wild, crazy and fun-filled Indian weddings.  Hope you like them.

with the sweet and beautiful bride

I just love going to weddings.  I love the aura of romance and new beginnings that is in the atmosphere.  Indian weddings are especially fun to go to, because they are usually wild and crazy with traditional dances and rituals that don’t make much sense.  It’s also fun to see the older people nod their heads to the latest Bollywood tunes.

Now that all my guests have left (and my house is strangely quiet) I will be able to post regularly.  I thank you all for your patience and support.  Stay tuned.

xoxo

About Heels Health and Happiness

A little about myself: I was born and raised in Canada. Coming from a family with 4 siblings (total) it was hard to convince my parents to give me enough money to experiment with fashion. You see...I come from a family that puts a LOT of emphasis on Academics and fashion was something that was almost looked down upon....so I did what most kids do, I went the academic route secretly envying fashion from afar. What I hope to achieve in this blog is to experiment with fashion and all things creative. Be it interior decorating, landscape designing, gardening, art and my first love fashion. I invite you all to join me on this journey of fashion and creativity and self discovery. I will make mistakes and fashion blunders but a wise man once said "The best part of the journey is the journey itself not so much the destination"

  4. Beautiful outfits, I absolutely love that creme/green saree in the 1st picture. Indian weddings are some of the most incredible ones I’ve had the pleasure of attending – the gorgeous outfits and the amazing traditions… so different than your typical cookie cooker wedding.
