Oriental Glory!!!!

Two years ago when I was visiting San Francisco, I decided to tour around China Town and wow!!!!!  there was so many beautiful, unique and exotic things that I wanted to buy it all (unfortunately my wallet and I were not friends at the time, it’s a love hate relationship we share 🙂 ). I remember falling in love with a particular black top but the price was steep and I had to regretfully put it back.

A few weekends ago, my sister and I were browsing around at “China Town” (Canada) and I saw that blouse again, it was not the exact blouse but very very similar.  After some bargaining and maybe pleading I got the blouse for $30.  I hope you enjoy the look.

I typically buy clothes based on fit rather than focus on the brand.  Mixing high and low-end pieces together is what makes fashion fun and exciting.  I love this top because not only does it fit well, but the pattern and lace detailing, along with the high collar makes it look sophisticated, feminine and a little bit sexy if I must say :).  This is a look that I would easily wear to a formal dinner party or date night with hubby.
I hope you have enjoyed this look as much as I have.  Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a great and sunny week. 🙂

About Heels Health and Happiness

A little about myself: I was born and raised in Canada. Coming from a family with 4 siblings (total) it was hard to convince my parents to give me enough money to experiment with fashion. You see...I come from a family that puts a LOT of emphasis on Academics and fashion was something that was almost looked down upon....so I did what most kids do, I went the academic route secretly envying fashion from afar. What I hope to achieve in this blog is to experiment with fashion and all things creative. Be it interior decorating, landscape designing, gardening, art and my first love fashion. I invite you all to join me on this journey of fashion and creativity and self discovery. I will make mistakes and fashion blunders but a wise man once said "The best part of the journey is the journey itself not so much the destination"
